The House Family…expanding soon!

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

The House family came to visit me last weekend to capture the memories of their final weeks of their pregnancy.  Due soon with their first child, Jessica & Jonathan were a lot of fun to work with…I can’t wait to meet their baby in just a couple more weeks!

Cameron is 1 year old!

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Cameron brought his parents to my studio on Sunday afternoon to play in celebration of his recent first birthday!  I absolutely cannot believe this little guy is already 1!

We had a great time…it seems he learned how to walk quite well some time over the holidays so by now Mr. Cameron was nearly running!  He was very pleased to show off his new-found skills for me in between shots.  Such a funny and happy little guy!

Maternity in the morning

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Janet & Russ came to see me this morning for their maternity session.  I hope you enjoy their images!  They’re a great couple to work with, full of laughter!  I’m sure we’ll have just as much fun shooting their newborn in a few more weeks…

The Jones family 2008 fall family photographs

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

Last weekend, the Jones family joined me at Pooles Mill here in Cumming for their fall family portraits.  This is the second year I’ve shot for them and their son, Ryan, is a graduate of my Growing Collection.  I’ve shot him, quite literally, since birth.

I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!  The weather and lighting is perfect this time of year for family portraits.  Sunday evening was a perfect time for us to shoot all the way up until dusk.

Janie & Jack…the remainder

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Following are the remainder of the children whose parents gave permission for me to post a sneak peek of their child’s session with me this week at Janie & Jack inside North Point Mall.

All told, I shot nearly 50 families worth of children in 3 days…WOW!  That has to be a record for me.  I took most of today (Thursday) off but of course couldn’t stay out of photoshop for long ;)

I hope you enjoy these last images…I had so much fun with this promotion and look forward to more in the future!

Remember…next Wednesday (10/22) and Thursday (10/23) I will be back in the store for the viewing/ordering appointments.  All Sunday appointments (10/26) have been canceled and I will be in touch with you by Monday to reschedule them for either Wednesday or Thursday.
Thank you again for participating in the promotion and for sharing permission with me to post your child’s photo for this sneak peek!

Janie & Jack at North Point Mall

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

As you may know, this week marked the beginning of the Janie & Jack promotion at North Point Mall.  Not unlike the Pottery Barn Kids promotion last month, I was invited to participate with Precious Time Photography to perform the promotion inside the Janie & Jack store.  What fun!  The kids were adorable and we had a great time playing together!

Following are a few of the children who came to see me on Monday and Tuesday of this week…hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

As some of you may know, in addition to my work as a photographer, I have been a lactation counselor for over 10 years.  This past January I retired from over 8 years as a La Leche League Leader.  The following image illustrates the special bond between a mom and her infant during that time in their lives.  I hope you find it as touching as I do.

I’ve got quite a few more kids to post yet, so stay tuned for more sneak peeks from Janie & Jack’s fall 2008 photography promotion!

Holiday Family Portraits…Pooles Mill Park on October 18, 19

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

I am pleased to announce the upcoming LOTUS RAIN PHOTOGRAPHY ~Holiday 2008 Family Portrait Special~, featuring sessions at Pooles Mill Park in Cumming. I have times available on both Saturday, October 18 as well as Sunday, October 19.

Due to lighting this time of year, sessions will be limited to *very early in the morning* (I know, I know…but trust me on the lighting) around 8a and to late afternoon into early evening (4:30p and later, until dark.)

Because of the outdoor lighting constrictions, session availability is LIMITED and I expect to fill these slots quickly. Keep that in mind when planning for this promotion.

For the on-location session fee of $150, you receive your session with me AS WELL as your choice of either an 11×14 family portrait ~OR~ 24 5×7 flat holiday cards (template based design…custom design, bi-folds and trifolds available for an additional fee) with envelopes. As my gift to you, when you select the holiday cards option, you’ll receive a free sheet of return address labels featuring an image from your session! Additional cards of this type are $45 per 24 for images from these sessions.

These sessions will last 45 minutes to one hour and will be fully on-location at Pooles Mill Park just west of Cumming. Expect family shots as well as small groupings and individual shots.

Call NOW to schedule your Pooles Mill Holiday Family Session…your session fee guarantees your spot on the calendar!

(Sorry, no substitutions in this offer…cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.)

Pottery Barn Kids day 3!

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Friday was the last day I shot for PBK.  Next week, I’ll meet with all of the families for viewing and orders…but until then, have fun taking a peek at these cuties from Friday!  Once again, thank you to all the parents who gave permission for me to post the images of their children.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Pottery Barn Kids Day 2!
